Dale’s Creek cabin sits in a private 4 acre cove on Lake James, bordered by Dale’s Creek. It is a perfect spot to take the family and relax by the lake, the creek, or by an outdoor fire. We provide direct water access with 2 kayaks and 1 canoe. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and then take a short drive to nearby Marion or Morganton for shopping, dining, entertainment, and art. There are also many trails and waterfalls in our area. Venture out and take day trips to Asheville, BLack Mountain, Banner Elk, Linville, Blowing Rock, and Boone! We are about an hour drive to any of those locations.
Our Home’s Layout:
Main level is up the front stairs: Open living and dining room, kitchen, bedroom with king, bedroom with twin bunks, hall bath, hall laundry. There is a covered front porch and a rear covered porch with screened room and access to the lower deck with grill and additional seating.
Upper level is an open loft with a den and the master suite with queen bed, desk alcove, and ensuite bath.
We offer an outdoor shower, 2 charcoal grills, and a covered pavilion.
It’s like your own private campground and sure to keep the kids (of all ages) busy for days!
